AIR COOLED CABLES
They are made of copper braids, round or flat, to which extremes there are copper terminals of different shapes, generally drilled. Properties and strong points : The unusual aspect of these cables is to be quite flexible and therefore suitable for tacking dies which need reduced space and bending radius. The cable is covered and thus isolated by a full hose or, if necessary, pre-drilled to resist to the sparklers coming from the welding process, or to avoid possible mass contacts with metallic elements.
WATER COOLED CABLES
They are made of copper braids, generally round, to which extremes there are copper terminals of different shapes, generally drilled, contained in a hose fastened by metallic clamps. Properties and strong points: These cables use water as a cooling principle which helps cables to last further, decreasing the temperature both on the cable and all over the cooling circuit of the welding machine. The cable is covered and consequently isolated by a full polyurethane tube, fixed with metallic clamps avoiding possible loss of coolant, in order to resist to the sparklers coming from the welding process or to avoid possible mass contacts with metallic elements.
