An alloy produced by powders metallurgy processes, including a small titanium and zirconium percentages and a very small carbon percentage. It is characterized from a high resistance through which it can be used at the die-casting processes temperatures. Generally the main properties are the high melting point, heat resistance higher than unalloyed molybdenum, low thermal expansion with good thermal conductivity and chemical resistance. The environment of usage ranges from high temperature furnaces manufacturing to evaporation systems, plastic processing and copper resistance welding in addition to die-casting. This product is available in bars, plates, sheets, tubes, in wires even on custom-made drawings.
