HB 150 (Cu-Cr-Zr)
CW106C – Copper Chromium Zirconium
An alloy for electrodes, for resistance welding. Use: whatever iron spot-welding, unalloyed steels and zinc sheets. Mostly advisable for continuous welding processes, with high spot/hour. Used also for electromechanical contacts.
HB 170 (Cu-Cr-Zr)
CW106C – Copper Chromium Zirconium
An alloy with high hardness suitable for electrodes, proper for spot-welding. Use: spot-welding, projection-welding and carbon iron head, zinc sheets, brass, bronze and nickel and products aluminum based.
HB 150 (Cu-Cr-Zr) for Sheets and Plates
CW106C – Copper Chromium Zirconium
An alloy with high conductivity and suitable hardness normally warmed rolled. Used for the construction of special elements like electric holders or usually medium or big size welding supports. Available in whole plates or custom-made cut.
HB 240 (Cu-Co-Ni-Be)
CW103C – Copper Cobalt Nickel Beryllium
An hardenable alloy, copper-cobalt-beryl based, with high hardness and average electric conductivity. Particularly suitable for welding of materials with high mechanical resistance and low electric conductivity. Use: spot, roller and projection welding, mainly for alloyed steels, alloys nickel based, high mechanical and corrosion resistant steels. It is used also in die-casting and melting of plastic materials and bathrooms fitting.
HB 110 (Cu-Ag)
CW016A – Copper Silver
A special alloy copper based, cold hardened, with the same conductivity of the raw copper. The addition of silver allows an increase in the softening temperature of roughly 100° C compared to the raw copper. Use: spot-welding of aluminum and its alloys.
HB 190 (Cu-Ni2-Si-Cr)
CW111C – Copper Nickel Silicon Chromium
An hardenable alloy, copper-nickel-silicium-chromium based. Used as an alternative to copper-cobalt-beryl alloy as, despite having slight difference in hardness, it keeps the same physical properties of HB 240 alloy. Use: melting as an alternative to HB 240.
HB 400 (Cu-Be2)
CW101C – Copper Beryllium
An alloy with a very high hardness and a medium-low electric conductivity. Use: molding, cooling inserts and injection nozzles for plastic materials, electro-tracing, electromechanics, anti-sparks tools and aluminum die-casting.
